Hello! I'm Bailey, a Registered Dietitian with 12 years of experience specializing in Pediatric, Maternal, and Family Nutrition. As a mom of two energetic little boys, I’ve gained valuable insights into the practicalities of feeding a family. I understand how overwhelming parenting can be, especially with the flood of information out there. My mission is to provide trustworthy and safe nutrition guidance, empowering parents to nourish their families confidently, starting in the prenatal stage. I also emphasize the importance of self-care, ensuring parents and caregivers health are also of top priority. My experience includes maternal health, gluten related disorders, chronic disease management, and beyond. I can't wait to work with you!
About
I am a Registered Dietitian/ Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science with honours from the University of Alberta. I completed a one year dietetic internship in the Calgary zone. I have a diverse background including hospital, clinic, and community practice, working with both adult and pediatric patients. This includes areas such as General Pediatric Nutrition, Neonatal Intensive Care, Feeding Therapy, Allergies, Neurodivergence, Gastrointestinal Concerns including Gluten Related Disorders, Breastfeeding and Maternal Health, Disordered Eating, and Chronic Disease Management. I am committed to providing reliable nutrition guidance by staying informed on current scientific research and literature. I practice in a manner that is compassionate, empathetic and client-centered. My skillset has continued to grow through lived experiences with my own family.

Services
1:1 Nutrition Counselling
Consultations are available via phone, telehealth or in-person at Shifra Centre for Wellness in Cochrane. Clients must be in Alberta due to professional regulations. Our initial appointment will focus on getting to know you and/or your child, your concerns, and goals. You will be provided with nutrition education, care plan, and applicable resources.
Workshops
For current offerings, please visit the link below. Workshops will be offered intermittently throughout the year. Examples: Navigating Picky Eating, Sensory Food Play, and Nutrition in Pregnancy. Have an idea, let me know!
Other Services
Please reach out if you are interested in other services such as group education or program menu review. For instance, I can review childcare or camp menus to ensure they are in keeping with Alberta Nutrition Guidelines for Children & Youth.
Pricing
Many extended health benefit plans cover Dietitian services. This may be included under your supplementary health services and/or health spending account. Please check with your individual plan for details. If extended health benefits are not available, Dietitian services can be claimed as a medical expense on income tax returns.
